My favorite subject.

It is a very difficult decision to choose which is my favorite subject, because honestly I like most of them, but if I had to choose one I would choose a subject that I am taking this semester at university, it is called research for pharmaceutical sciences, this course teach me how to write scientific articles and how to communicate in a good way an idea or experiment done.

I like this course because I feel that it is an excellent tool to get into the research area, in fact the test we had was to write a summary of a part of a scientific text, the honestly is that it called my attention because of that in exclusive.

Also in this course they taught how is the world of research, for example: how scientific texts are published, who reviews these texts, where can the texts be published, etc. and also what I liked was that they taught us to look for information from reliable search sources, so that when looking for information it is reliable.

The Chemistry and Pharmacy for a better world

My carrer chermistry and pharmacy, is a the carrers more influence in this years, because relate the chermistry and pharmacy for helping the persons with diseases. In this years with the pandemic of coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) this carrer has been fundamental to the treatment, vaccine or perhaps a possible cure for this virus. In fact, that Pfizer is one of the best known pharmaceutical companies in the world, and has developed a very effective vaccine for this virus.

I will like work in investigations of this kind. My dream in this carrer is working in investigations for helping the persons with your diseases or at least help them to improve their quality of life. I like read cientifics articles, work in the laboratories, i see myself working in this type of job. 

These studies will always contribute to the development of this world, people always get sick unfortunately and there must be the research scientists in this area, to help everyone to cure their diseases or at least treat them so they can have more happiness in their lives. Of course this should never be done for lucrative purposes.

Joseph Louis Proust

Joseph Louis Proust was a French pharmacist and chemist, he was the creator of Proust's law of definite proportions, which tells us that when compounds combine they do so in definite proportions. His contributions are closely linked to the area of chemistry rather than pharmacy, contributing with his law that is still used today.

He worked and studied in his father's laboratory, where he performed very well in the field of pharmacy, and continued his studies in Paris where he became head pharmacist at the Salpêtrière hospital. After that he went to live in Spain for most of his life, where he worked as a professor of chemistry in several institutions, creating in one of them his famous Proust's law.

I like this character, because he was able to perform in these two areas equally, he had so much knowledge that he was very educated in both chemistry and pharmacy. He was a genius.

The picture

This picture was taken by my girlfriend's sister on a day when the sky was very beautiful and very close to the hills where she lives. My girlfriend's sister is ten years old and yet she took a very beautiful picture I think. She took the picture before the pandemic started, in the house where she lives. She lives in Pudahuel, just like me, but the hills are better seen from her house, because it is close to a place called "la quebrada de la plata" (that's how the people who live close to that place call it), it is a place where two small hills converge. 

It shows the sky of a very warm colour, the sun is reflected in the clouds and the light gives to the hills that looks very bright and gives a feeling of tranquility and calm. I love this photo because it shows (I think) freedom, tranquility, happiness. I say this because one day when I went to walk to the hill and the same situation was in the sky, it made me feel those emotions, tranquility, peace, etc.

What is the food?

My mom used to make this food for me since I was very young, it was my favorite food, and I think it continues to be, it is very easy to make, but when I cook this food it doesn't have the same taste if she made it, I think this food has a secret that I can' t discover yet.

This food is very simple and has very simple ingredients, the most abundant food in the dish is a seed that is considered as a cereal and is very used in the Asian culture, and only simple spices are needed to cook it, for example garlic, salt, pimenton, etc. It is fried and boiled. The other ingredient is an animal based pork sausage and to cook it, it is cut into pieces and fried. Over all of that is a sauce based on a fruit that can be confused with a vegetable because it does not have a very sweet taste.

What is the tecnologic object?

I got this object the past year, in march of the 2020. This object can be used for different functions , for example for play, study, watch movies, etc. But I use it more for studying and watch movies.

I use this object all time, because i need it for the university, in this object i can watch university lectures, read books, do homework, among many other functions. university takes up most of my day and this object helps me to fulfill this duty. 

This is my favorite tecnologic object because it has many functions apart from studying, I can have fun with it, I can play games and talk to my distant family.  

The main activity I would not be able to do is to study or watch university classes, I would not be able to read or do any work, and I would not be able to watch movies. 

A chapter in my life.

When was a little boy, my life was the football (soccer), I played this sport all day, all time. but my partens wanted my to study, so I had to study leaving my passion aside a little. But when i grew up i discover the world of the biology, the processes, the reactions of living beings fascinated me and well they still do. In those years I was planning to study biology marine, is a beatiful carrer full of adventures, but I had to go to study and work far away for months or years. Then i decide not studied this carrer, apart in those years I started to like chemistry, the molecules, the reactions, I needed to know how they worked, and i decided studied chermistry and pharmacy, because it is a career that has a lot of biology and a lot of chemistry.

My experience in this carrer is not the best, but every day I think made a good decision in choosing it. I feel that every day I am getting closer to the expectations I had for this career.

In this moment, I don't know where to work in my career, all areas i like,but the area where I would love to work is the investigation, all kind investigation, I think it would be one of my dreams.

I introduce myself.

Hi, my name is Claudio Martínez, i am nineteen years old and actually i am student.

I study in University of Chile, in the carrer of chermistry and farmacy, is my second year in this carrer, the worst of this is what thank to the pandemy, i was go to the faculty only three times, this is so bad. I would have liked going to the faculty much more times. But it`s better this way.

Before entering university, i went to a school in pudahuel, because i live in pudahuel, but i dont born in pudahuel i born in providencia and live with my parents in this commune for 2 years. Then we lived in the commune of Paine for two more years until we moved to the commune of Pudahuel where currently live with my parentes, my brothers Ignacio and Sebastian and my dog Pepe.

My hobbies are doing sports, play the guitar, fly for the mountains, and dancing with bears. But my favorite hobbie is play the guitar and read the book of cience, ciencie fiction or fantasy.
